Flashover is a rapid fire progress which has been claiming lives until now
There are several different definitions of flashover and out of which one says that it is the stage of fire development in which the contents and the gases reach their ignition temperatures and flames breakout almost all once over all the surfaces. Learn more form fire-fighting companies in Dubai!
There are a few different types
of flashovers that exist and out of which the first one is hot rich flashover. The
hot rich flash over is the most common that fire fighters run into on a fire
ground. The cause of a flash over or a hot rich flash over is what it can be
referred to is a term called thermal radiation feedback.
Everything in nature tries to
find a balance if one grabs a can of Coke it going to get warm and in turn the
hand will cool off, same things happens inside the structure, the seat of a
fire is growing the energy and heat that is being created is being absorbed into
the material of that room because it is trying to find the balance. Contact the

Once it cannot find that balance or
that balance is exceeded. The material starts to break and turn into gaseous
from which is famous as carbon dioxide. This radiates that heat back to the centre
of the room and this process is called pyrolysis. Once it reaches the centre of
the room, it is going to try to find a way to go back to the walls but like a
sponge it can only absorb so much heat that it begins to build and build until
it reaches its ignition temperature. This ignites into fire and yet flames
breaking out through the gas.
It is all about heat and energy,
you have to have hat to break down a solid to a gas and that is what produces
very volatile gas which has been killing us until the day.
Another type of Rapid Fire Progress or RFP
RFP is a backdraft that is probably one of the most uncommon types that the fire-fighting contractors in Dubai on fire ground. It is a fire that generates so much heat and use up all the oxygen in the room that it just sits and smolders. The heat does not go away but the air is gone and this superheated gas which is confined is waiting for anybody to open the door to let the fresh air in, it mixes with all the gases in there.
The heat is already there and when it ignites, it ignites with an explosive force. The other would be a delayed flash over which is also very dangerous for fire fighters.
